SRP donate to Salvation Army in Hamilton for Christmas Toy Appeal 2022

In association with the Hamilton Advertiser, the Salvation Army Charity in Hamilton ran a Christmas Toy appeal for December 2022 to help provide Christmas gifts to over 1300 disadvantaged children in the local area of South Lanarkshire. Scottish Roads Partnership (SRP), as part of their ongoing ‘Good Neighbour Fund’, helped by donating £500 towards the appeal. On Monday 05 December 2022 Scottish Roads Partnership (SRP) Operations Manager Graham Drummond visited the Salvation Army Hall to view the appeals collection of newly purchased toys and gifts that would be given to needy families this festive season. Graham Drummond (third from left) is pictured with the Salvation Army Staff including Captain Wendy Leisk (first on left) and Hamilton Advertiser’s senior reporter Leona Greenan (front centre). This is the eighteenth year the Hamilton Advertiser have ran the Christmas Toy Appeal with the support of other local businesses and support groups.
