Social Value – SRP Good Neighbour Fund - Donation of 400 Christmas Selection Boxes to Tannochside Miners’ Welfare Club – Monday 9th December 2024

On Monday 9th December 2024 Scottish Roads Partnership’s (SRP) Graham Drummond and Louise Berkley delivered 400 Christmas selection boxes to the Tannochside Miners’ Welfare Club.

SRP arrange to meet the Treasurer of the club, Robert (Rab) Cassidy who explained that the Miners Welfare Club organise many events at this time of year for senior citizens, under privileged children and their parents to celebrate Christmas. The 400 selection boxes are a contribution to an appeal for donations to collect over 1200 boxes. Rab is hoping to distribute all the selection boxes to the local schools and community care homes around the Tannochside area.
